Or is it best to press the whole winnings the first time or two the number hits so you quickly build up the amount that is riding on the number and then start taking returns once it is built up to say $24/$36? When you power press you are letting the bets on the 6 and 8 build until you can cover all of. Is it best to use a progressive system whereby you deem $6 a 'unit' and press a unit each time you hit and take the balance? Can you increase your bets by only $6 on a $10 table provided you already have over $10 on the number? Lets now talk for a minute about the concept of power pressing. I usually play 10 tables with 12 each on the 6 and 8. Occasional hardways bets if I am drunk/winning/both. This next trip though I am contemplating pressing my bets a little. I am a pretty conservative craps player-pass line with odds and betting the 6 and 8. This helps keep me in the game longer, but also means I never take full advantage of a really good roll.
